About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to Marktype, including its website, assessment, account, and profile. Marktype is offered by umbrellahous LLC, 2796 South Van Dyke Road, Imlay City, Michigan 48444.

Release 1 is offered only to people who are at least 18 years old and located in the United States. By creating an account or purchasing access, you confirm that you meet those requirements and agree to these terms.

What Marktype provides

A purchase provides one assessment credit, immediate access after confirmed payment, and account access to the resulting individual profile. The assessment and profile are for personal reflection and development. They are not clinical, diagnostic, or professional advice.

Your result reflects the answers you provide at that time. It does not define your ability, maturity, character, compatibility, or future behavior.

Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and use only your own account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe someone has accessed it without permission.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass purchase or access controls, copy or redistribute protected profile content at scale, or use a Marktype result as the sole basis for an employment, housing, lending, insurance, admissions, or other high-impact decision.

Purchases

Individual assessment access costs $29 USD. Payment is processed by Stripe. Purchases are final except where required by law or when a duplicate charge, unauthorized payment, or technical failure prevents delivery. The Refund Policy explains how to report a payment problem.

Ownership

Marktype, its assessment, profiles, writing, visual design, names, and related materials belong to umbrellahous LLC or its licensors. Your purchase gives you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use your result. It does not transfer ownership of the assessment or profile system.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, improve, or discontinue parts of the service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, but we will take reasonable steps to restore access or address a verified delivery failure.

Limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marktype is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. umbrellahous LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
